Jamaican born, Kimberley Kelly left at a tender age of 13 and migrated to Canada. Most of her years were spent living in Brampton, where she attended High School. To sum up her early age, Kimberley sang more than she would actually speak. At 18 years old she is ready to introduce herself to the world. She is now enrolled in grade 12 where she is completing High School. Since she is from Jamaican background Kimberley’s music is often influenced by reggae mixed with R&B.
As a child she always had the passion for singing, anything she was doing had to involve music. “I don’t want to do anything else but be an artist and inspire people” explained Kimberley. Born on August 19, 1990; she is a young, focused and talented lady who is waiting for that Big Break. In 2007, Albert Kelly (father) got a vocal and piano teacher to enhance her musical skills.
Kimberley continued taking vocal lessons but dropped the piano lesions, “It was just not for me”. Every time she sings she receives nothing but positive comments from audiences to producers, with this she is now more determined to pursue her dream. With her incredible dynamic talents, she opens herself to other genre of music, and practice more often that her voice may fit it. She is not only an amazing singer but also a good song writer. In 2008 Kimberley wrote ‘Unworthy’, which was produced by Patrick Stephenson, and Manager Dave Reid of Styles International. Artist like Beyonce Knowles, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Ne-Yo are influences to Kimberley’s music and where she wants to be.
